Global Unity Challenge 

With just three weeks to plan and prepare, from the launch to the main event, we had a lot of sharing to do for a successful flood. Within the first couple days the event had attracted a few hundred to attend. Noticing the rapid growth, the organizers brain stormed on how to manage such an up rise and came up with a little "We Are One Workshop". This workshop consisted of a few demonstrations and interactions for the hundreds joining the event. With the rapid growth of something, it may have a tendency to intimidate and people may come to voice their disagreements. So a few days prior to the event we hosted a couple demonstrations on how to respond and not respond to those who disagree with nothing but negative things to say. Once that had been demonstrated, the now 1,000+ that were attending began sharing "memes" and images with each other that contained those three little words "We Are One" and messages of Unity. Such a beautiful thing humanity is when fear and divisions are set aside for something nobler than our personal egos, such as World Peace through Unity.

With the massive interest the Global Unity Challenge had gained for the first event, it showed the organizers that it couldn't stop there! And so it became monthly, to be held every 11th. Along with the growing popularity the organizers were bringing in a few more to help as well, making it a team of 14+/-. We all hosted different events through the summer to coincide with the challenge and has been great so far! Some created their own event on Facebook, some held local events outside of the internet, while discussing how to keep it growing. Then we began approaching some other larger peace movements to get more involvement in hopes of filling this Global Unity Challenge social media flood with conscious humans worldwide. We also created accounts on other social media sites like twitter, Instagram, google+, and tsu. So this challenge is now a growing movement for world peace, love and unity along with tons of other movements. Join your fellow humans in changing this world from a society to a humanity. #WeAreOne. The Global Unity Challenge is a monthly synchronized, globally united event. Which is held every 11th of every month, on every continent, and on the most popular social media sites.  The challenge is to flood the world with kindness unified as ONE race, the Human Race, on ONE planet, Earth. We Are One.

Partially inspired by the "Ice-bucket Challenge" that went extremely viral and engaged all humans alike for a good cause through the power of social media. On the night before spring of 2015, Francis made some posts on Facebook to see who was watching. A series of posts asking if an even simpler viral flood was possible and if it would create a ripple. To Francis's surprise it didn't make just a ripple, it made a splash! From there a few on Francis's 'friends list' joined him in sharing not just the message but the idea of this flood. That led to, originally, 7 friends organizing and sharing vigorously for the first event, the "#GlobalUnityChallenge#WeAreOne#411flood". Within just three weeks this small team managed to get 11,000+ Facebook users invited and 1,100 Facebook users attending the first flood event scheduled for April 11th.
